A limited edition original relief print from artist Philippa C Thomas featuring sunbathers at Am Meall in Portree on the Isle of Skye.
Philippa lives on the island and works from her studio on the shores of Loch Bracadale. The relief printing process involves carving a block, usually from lino or wood, then printing the layers individually with a printing press. This is a varied edition, meaning each image has been worked into by hand during printing.
Printed with one single colour, inspired by the colour of a Russet apple. The colour can vary slightly from print to print as it a hand mixed colour. Signed by the artist and has the title 'Sunbathers'
This piece measures 700 x 500mm. Limited edition out of 18 prints.
Prints come packaged flat on board wrapped in cellophane or rolled in a tube.
